7Hills - Rental Shop Release with Custom Rentman Integration
You hear about it everywhere, the glittering world of Hollywood. But the lesser known Salzburg film scene also has plenty to offer. Part of this scene is the full-service video rental 7Hills. Founded by a group of passionate filmmakers, the company aims to support other filmmakers in accomplishing their projects.
This is where Alphaport came in. We not only revamped 7Hills's homepage, but also developed a brand new Rental Shop. The result of this is already "Camera Ready" for customer inquiries!
Our innovations for 7Hills:
- A user-friendly Rental Shop: The centerpiece of our innovations is the brand new Rental Shop. Developed with Nuxt.js for the frontend and Strapi for content management, it's not only easy to use, but also makes it effortless to find desired equipment and send inquiries.
- Seamless integration: A customized Strapi plugin, developed by Alphaport, communicates seamlessly with the existing rental software "Rentman". This integration ensures seamless management and updating of rental equipment.
- Special request: As requested by 7Hills, client invoicing is not done through the store. Instead, each of the incoming inquiries is dealt with by an employee who sends a customized quote to the customer. This allows each customer to be dealt with individually and maintains the high quality that customers have come to expect from 7Hills.
- Option for registered users and guests: Regular clients are offered the option to register in the store. However, it is possible for both registered users and guests to send inquiries. This ensures maximum flexibility for customers.
7Hills' new Rental Shop, as well as their redesigned homepage, offers its customers a much more relaxed and user-friendly service. At the same time, 7Hills is benefiting significantly from the simplified workflow. We are proud to have supported 7Hills in this project and look forward to a wonderful ongoing collaboration!
