Techno-Z - Creating a highly automated office home
In the heart of the municipality of Urstein sits the new Techno-Z, a recently opened branch of the renowned Techno-Z network. Companies and projects of all sizes are supported there - from freshly launched start-ups to well-established companies. Techno-Z offers them all a vibrant ecosystem of technological innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
The Alphaport team was brought on board for our expertise in intelligent automation solutions and tasked with implementing an automated booking system and signage. The aim was to transform Techno-Z Urstein into an "office home" rather than a "home office". Alphaport's involvement in the development of the new location was not just an assignement for us, but a matter close to our hearts, as we ourselves have been long-term tenants in the Salzburg branch of Techno-Z and have a long-standing relationship with the colleagues on site.
This personal connection was a particular motivation for us to develop a customized solution.
The steps we implemented included the following cornerstones:
- Development of all necessary software interfaces such as OfficeRnD and SALTO Systems. These not only guarantee secure access, but also efficient room utilization
- The integration of OfficeRnD into the Techno-Z Urstein website. This enables customers to book rooms directly online. The booking is processed by Stripe - completely automated from the reservation through to invoicing.
- The creation of automated room visualizations.
- The installation and setup of strategically placed screens throughout the building: In the foyer, large vertical displays provide an overview of the currently rented companies as well as a detailed room plan and automated content such as weather updates, event announcements or performance data from the in-house photovoltaic system. In front of each meeting room, displays with automated content provide information on current occupancy and meeting details, while inside the rooms, additional displays facilitate the connection for presentations. One highlight is the large LED wall on the ground floor. This is connected to our ContentBox and can thus display any kind of automated content.
